I'm operating West departures, Y. I am still getting handoff errors at Harob. I can't find any clue or pattern to explain this. It might work ten times, then suddenly I get an error.

A video of this happening would be awesome in trying to find the reason. Or a screenshot taken just after you get dinged. With the time/traffic flow and plane involved.
regards, Alexander

Well, I'm old, and not techie enough to do that stuff.
![]() But I had one just now, I didn't catch what time the flight was received and I inherited it, it happened at 0245 with flight FDX3740H. And BTW, Center requested the handoff if that matters.

I believe I've identified my handoff error issue at Harob. It seems to be a voice recognition issue, reading my 128.3 as 120.3.

Nice toy around a bit with different ways to say it to get it more consistent.
One two eight, one twenty eight Also the game does a pretty good job of understanding both the American "point" and the international "decimal". You might get a higher accuracy with another way of saying that specific frequency. |

The only other voice issue I've had is when assigning altitude, for example if I say one-five-thousand it interprets one-four-thousand. I use "fife", but it still misinterprets at times. In all other cases it has no problem with "five"; callsigns, frequencies, etc.
On an unrelated point, I'll tell you what really is annoying... sometimes I get tongue-tied a little and rather than the pilot replying with "WTF did you say?" or "please repeat that", it assumes a wrong command and I get dinged. LOL

Trying to run A again. It's impossible. C01 gives you planes on top of each other. How are you supposed to handle that?

yeah the AI isn't doing a superb job of spacing aircraft.
When you are faced with two aircraft being handed over to you at the same place, the same time there is really nothing you can do without taking the blame for the loss of separation. Use your middle mouse button to remove one of the aircraft from the simulation before accepting the other one. Also check if the next aircraft in trail is moving faster as it will become a separation issue soon if you don't decend the first one quickly. You can ask C01 for point outs just as with other tracon sectors. Then you only have to delete the obvious unrealistic handoffs from the sim.
