Hello,

so far I've not much experience with ATC simulators or with speech recognition software. That's why I am a bit hesitant to buy ATCPro.

Do you maybe plan to release a demo version of ATCPro? That would make descicion much easier Smile

Thanks and Greetings
Tim

Tim:

We recognize that "learning" ATCpro can be a bit challenging, and we have some ways to help you.  There are several things that you can do to ease the ATC learning curve:
  1. Visit our website - www.atcprosim.com - and read the documents and watch the training videos.
  2. You can run ATCpro in full AI mode, which means that the AI controllers handle all of the traffic.  Pick one sector and listen and watch for a while.
  3. Start with a level 8 facility, such as ABQ or TYS.  Pick a day and time when the traffic levels are lower, and then either run full AI mode or try it yourself.  Remember, no one gets hurt if you crash.  If you make a mistake, end the session and then restart at the same day and time and try again.
  4. There are sliders for the traffic levels for each class of aircraft.  As a start, turn off (set the slider to zero) for everything except, for example, commercial arrivals.  Now, run AI mode or try it yourself.
  5. The command list will tell you how to correctly give each command.  If the command isn't on the list, ATCpro will probably not recognize it.

Don't be intimidated by the speech recognition.  You will have excellent (better than 95%) results if you remember to enunciate clearly and speak at a normal speech rate, or even slightly faster.

As of now, we do not have a demo mode product available.

Regards

Tom
