Occasionally, when an aircraft departs an airport close to a neighboring airspace border the data block turns green even though it won't be entering that airspace. Is there a way to "steal" the aircraft back? When I do need to hand-off to a new sector I get an error then dinged for not handing off prior to the frequency change.

I don't use automated handoffs so can't rely come with any tips for that.
Other than.... Turn off the automation and do handoffs manually. Preferably not by half auto like handover to "C", but to "C46" etc. The half-auto way sometimes choose the wrong center and you get dinged when you match that with the correct frequency. |
